Welcome to the “Teatro Verde” which means Green Theater. This open-air venue is named for its 18 tiered rows separated by low hedge backrests, set on a sloped hillside in a semicircular design. Upon arriving from the path, the first stairs are immediately to your right. To the left are the orchestra pit and stage, both bordered by a balustrade and off limits to visitors. The stone seating is distinct with hedges as extended backrests. Please refrain from eating; in Venice, seagulls might approach for food.
